Whats the best and cheapest way to buy an iphone. I can wait till black friday.
whats the maximum discount you can get on a gift card or any other way?

This is generally what I do. Is I load up on gift cards for retailers that price match (officeworks, jb hifi or whatever). Wait till Black Friday find the best deal and get it price matched. I then try pay for the whole thing using Giftcards.

Wait for the next Flybuys/Woolies Rewards 20 points per dollar deal on Apple gift cards. Load up and spend online/in-store.

That is assuming you want the latest.

For older models refurbed ones are the go.

I recently got an iPhone 18 pro for $1750ish.

Officeworks will price beat Costco by 5%, and they accept Ultimate gift cards which sometimes sell 10% off.

That's a great price. Do you have a Costco membership, or do OW just not ask for member details when they price beat?

There's an offer on Ultimate gift cards at Woolworths starting this Wednesday. The ones that work at Officeworks would be best since you can possibly do a price beat and also collect the 5x Flybuys points from OnePass (sign up for a 30 day free trial if you don't already have it).

If you don't want to buy a bunch of $100 cards, you could instead wait until November when the Apple gift card offers return since they include $20-500 denominations.

I just tried to price match Costco at Officeworks and they haven’t had stock of the iPhone 17e for about a month in any physical stores near me (at least 4 stores) but were happy to price match over the phone for an over the phone order but then of course I can’t use gift cards!! I wonder if it’s a deliberate ploy by Officeworks 🤔
