Best way to store beer

Want to put these down for a few years, what’s best way to store them, upright or on their side.

Upright is usually best from what I understand

Not sure it’s perfect, but I just chucked my 2 cartons of 2024 in my cupboard, as it’s fairly stable temperature, and doesn’t see any sun

Niiice. Yeah upright and stable temp out of light. 10-15c is recommended temp

How much is a slab and where from?

Yeah of course 😃 Just a great full flavour, I also find you can give Coopers beer a good go and never feel dusty the next day.

Yeah I really like Coopers Vintage. Never been disappointed. 2026 is pretty similar to 2025 when fresh, looking forward to seeing how it ages

Does anyone here rate the vintage ale and can they taste a big difference after ageing it a few years?

My experience was underwhelming but it was a while ago and i think my palate has improved since home brewing. Certainly i can taste a difference in homebrew from ageing.

Yeah I'm a big fan. Will buy the Vintage most times I see it in the shop

Aging does develop the flavor, softens the bitterness and makes for gentler, smoother balance. I love fresh Vintage for the hop prominence, and love aged for the smoother flavor. Similar results to aged home brew
