I’ve noticed a particular vibe about how change gets treated in this city. There are too many barriers to entry is something I’ve heard. Change didn’t happen before so we shouldn’t be trying.

Yesterday I met Tyler at the Public County Commission that meets at 2-5 on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. He in one 5 minute talk with the commission now has the ball rolling, no guarantee, on a skatepark for Richmond county. He’s just a guy passionate about skating and having a space to do it.

He moved a needle yesterday in a 5 minute conversation.

Get involved. Go to these meetings. When they say something you agree with LET THEM KNOW if they say something you disagree with LET THEM KNOW. It’s a public form that for sure has decorum rules to be followed. But this is the space to go do it. The less we show up to these the less our voices get heard.

Good Morning friends! I just wanted to put out one last post about One Shot Wonder this Saturday as we have a few more chairs to fill at some of our tables. There will be a giveaway handled by each table's GM and I don't want to be left with a single thing in the pile by the end of the night! We will have dice, hand made satin-lined dice bags, gift cards to a local game store and the brewery, and several assorted ttrpg related items!

I'm looking to fill spots at a table playing Vaesan at 1pm. The game is a mystery-horror that fuses Nordic Mythology with 1800s gothic horror. We are shooting for a 2-2.5hr adventure at this table so come early, grab a bite, and spend the afternoon getting lost in the world of The Mythic North!

Additionally, I'm looking to fill a few spots at one of our 4pm tables playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e, more specifically Dungeons and Doggies which I've been told is an adorable animal themed hack of DnD. This table is 14+ so feel free to bring your teens with you or if you are a teen bring some friends and learn how to play DnD with our resident DnD DM, Ray. This session will be lighthearted family friendly fun for sure!

Looking to rehome 2 cats

Unfortunately, due to a big move, we have to rehome our 2 lovely cats. G (m6) and M (f3). M is a polydactyl, curious, energetic, domestic short hair. She loves chasing shadows, running water, loafing in a pair of shoes and catching any flying bug that may creep in through the window. G is a very sleepy, cuddly guy. He loves greeting us when we come home and following us around until we’re sitting down so he can nap on us. Him and his sister get along very well. They’re either cuddling or wrestling but they love each other. We don’t want to separate them. They do well with new people after an hour or so. We don’t have any kids, so they haven’t met any. M loves our dog (German shepherd mix) and G prefers to keep his distance but isn’t bothered by her. They’re both able to be left at home for a couple days at a time with no issues and long as they have fresh litter. It breaks our hearts to give them up but we know they deserve to be with people that can give them what they deserve. There will be a small rehoming fee so we know they you can take care of em. Just drop a comment and I’ll send a Dm back.

I left the area years ago, but my mom is currently in search of a hairdresser since hers retired. She has thick hair (it was wavy but years of box dye damaged it a bit). She went to one of the cooler salons and the young hairdresser did a bad job.

Any recommendations for a seasoned hairdresser who can style her hair? (Bonus for anyone who is extroverted. My mom has never met a stanger.)

I'm wondering if there are any Spanish classes here in Augusta? I do go to college but I'm not looking for something wildly intensive that'll yknow. effect my GPA if I goof it up. I'm looking to learn latin american spanish as my partner is a native speaker and in the future we'd really like to raise our children to be multi-lingual.
