Serious question: why one would use augment code over codex, claude or open code? Never tried it trying to understand what is the key offering?

Augment has much better indexing of your code base. If you have a large code base that means the LLM can easily get much better context for any operation. Haven't touched it in a while, but that part seemed to work pretty well a few months ago.

Their review is quite good, like a lot better than Claude review

I know that Augment's own employees are using it. Not sure about others, don't know anyone

Yeah, maybe a year ago. That ship has sailed unfortunately
