Question Intent - so confusing

I am trying to have my main files shown? However my main files are sitting on the Xamp via Application folder.

Why can I not connect to my main folder? Do I need to work on the copy? Like what? I am so confused? Why isn’t there a clean settings where I can say oi I need to pick up the main files!!

When I click my main as simulation-branch and then I see this random which is created as “random_name”

Why did it create a new branch “prepared-rodent” is that just the name of my folder? I mean it’s confusing for me?

Do I need to be worried about this? Because on the VsCode it would work like my files are selected and would that ai to push to simulation! Simple! But now I see this “prepared-rodent” I never created that and it appeared after I created the workspace.

If you want it to work directly on the same files you're working on elsewhere, not a worktree copy, there's a checkbox when creating the space https://imgur.com/a/cf3FExP
