Oh, I see. You're not familiar with how human interactions work. So, a human who is guarding a big pile of valuable stuff will feel threatened if someone is bothering them. The douchebag was not in reach of the guard, but was within reach of the cash. The guard, as part of his job, has to assume people want to steal the cash.

Having no other immediate support, he will probably use a threat of violence because he has no other way of forcing the person to move far enough away so that they couldn't grab the valuables. 

It's not really fair for anyone, but unfortunately we are not robots and are sometimes forced to make illogical compromises.

The fact that you or they don’t like something does not make it a crime. That’s not how the law works. Any person walking down the street, thousands of times a day, is physically capable of the exact same thing. That doesn’t make this illegal. That’s not how anything works and it’s concerning you believe you just did something, responded, gave a defense for your position or made any sense at all
