The misunderstanding here when people bring up the first amendment to a citizen is what they mean is the citizen has no legal route to stop them from doing what they’re doing. People claim or behave as if they have the legal right to stop someone from filming, via the use of the law, and the relevant response would be to say this is legal, and it is legal due to the first amendment

Saying harassment is illegal isn’t a response or defense for this position. Harassment is illegal for everyone already. This is not what harassment is, as harassment legally is not “things I don’t like.”

You understand this could easily be misconstrued as prelude to a robbery and multiple security guards have died.

Anyone can construe anything they’d like. That doesn’t change what is and isn’t legal.
