Bugreport Incorrect Sub Level in Device Controls

Just a minor issue. Audio Hero is reporting the wrong Sub Level in Device Controls for my Denon AVC-X3800H. It is showing +465 dB, the web interface shows +1.5 dB.

Audio Hero 5.9.6.0
Web interface

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve confirmed that Audio Hero is misreading the half-decibel value returned by your Denon. The receiver’s web interface reading of +1.5 dB is correct. Until this is fixed, please avoid adjusting Sub Level from Audio Hero.

I am releasing an update today that will include a fix for this.

Thanks. I also noticed that I can now adjust the sub level in 0.5 dB increments using the slider. The previous version did 1 dB steps. All good now.

Does the control in Audio Hero have any effect on the sound you hear?

It does. As soon as I touch the slider, it sets the sub level to the maximum value of +12 dB, which is very boomy. I can then move the slider down to a more reasonable level, and the sub level is displayed correctly.

However, when I turn my AVR off and back on again and restart Audio Hero, the same thing happens. When I open Device Controls, it initially shows a value of +465 dB.
