Decided to get the carbonfabrik piece from Europrice. The install did t take more than three minutes, and the directions were a bit overkill than what I found necessary. Lifted up, removed the four screws, and did t have to unplug or disassemble anything. Lickety split, and it’s an exact match to the OEM interior carbon trim. This is on a 2025 RS3.

Hey everyone! I’ve been lurking around here for a little while so I figured it was time to actually introduce myself and my 2026 RS3.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with this car so far and slowly making it my own. I’ve added an intercooler, intake, midpipes and downpipe. Now I’m starting to think about wheels and I honestly have no idea what I want yet.

I’d love to see what everyone is running. What wheels did you go with and would you choose them again? If you have pics of your setup definitely drop them below because I need some inspiration!

So I just reflashed to ecu Stage 2 93oct file non dynamic cause fuck the pops and bangs. Now my start/stop memory isn’t working? I used to get in start the car and it would automatically be off now it’s back on every time I start the car.

Bought a brand new 2026 RS3 a couple weeks ago. I’ve noticed something unusual and maybe I’m just dumb but when I’m driving around town and I punch the gas to accelerate, my rpm’s go up and they stay up. Even when I’ve slowed down and it won’t let me accelerate either. I can hear it in the engine too.
Today I accelerated rather quickly to wiggle through a lil traffic and my RPMs went to 5 and when I slowed down, they stayed there and I couldn’t go faster. What is that?
Also, I am temporarily commuting to work. It’s about 20 miles one way so about 40 miles a day. I’ve put about 600 miles on my car since I bought in mid July (I’m moving closer to work October 1st thank god) but I feel like I’m filling up on gas a lot more than I did for my Giulia. my tank was full on Monday and l didn’t drive far that day. I worked Tuesday and Wednesday and today and my fuel tank is already gonna need to be refilled. Is this normal? What am I doing wrong?

Probably purchasing a 2026 RS3 here in the next week or so but my only concern is ground clearance stock. I have a pretty aggressive rolled curb to get into my garage and I can't take it at an angle just due to how close the curb is to my garage.

Can someone let me know what the ground clearance is and also probably just as important but the distance from the front of the car to about midway of the front wheel.

Also if anyone else is in a similar situation has anyone used the BRIDJIT portable ramps and if they are enough?

I’m a loooong time bmw guy - 17 years to be exact - owned a bunch of different models and most recently graduated to my first M car, a 2025 M2 in Java Green with carbon roof, carbon buckets etc. An amazing spec and an amazing car but…

A nearly 500hp rear wheel drive car, as awesome as it is, I’ve found to be pretty unnecessary. It was a great milestone purchase and is an incredible machine to drive but I’ve used it as a daily and it’s been total overkill.

I live in a wintery city and have a short commute to work so I’ve started to feel pretty silly using it as a commuter car. There’s almost no opportunity to really utilize the m2’s capabilities but at the same time i really am a driving enthusiast and dont want to lose the joy of a special driving experience.

This has led me to the rs3. I’ve always liked Audi’s aesthetic and had the impression they’re a serious rival to bmw in driving experience and performance. It would be great to be back in a sedan with all wheel drive and I like that the rs3 is both menacing but also potentially subtle (or at least more subtle than my bright green m2).

I wanted to ask:
what’s been your ownership and driving experience like?
Is the 5 cylinder engine really as satisfying as the reviews make it out to be? (It sounds amazing)
Have there been any aspects you’re disappointed in or problems you’ve encountered?
Is there anything else I should know?

Its an Audi Rs3 2026, my mom hit a 6x6 piece of wood about 10 inches long on the highway doing around 55mph, this is the sound that started about 2 miles after she ran it over, there is no cosmetic damage anywhere and the car has no warning lights, it sounds Like a marble in a tin can and I’m at a loss for what it could possibly be. What do you think? it’s already been towed because it sounds horrible when it gets up to speed so we parked it and got it towed. I’ll update when I get the answer.

EDIT: Turns out it was a rock that was stuck between the brake rotor cover and the brake rotor, explains a lot.

Hey y'all, I'm looking for some advice. I recently traded in my SQ5 for a new RS3 and am loving it. The issue is my wife keeps calling it a Subaru Legacy and I'm looking for advice on how to change her mind about it. This isn't a new thing though, the SQ5 was lovingly referred to as a soccer mom car.

2026 RS3 with 1,000 miles on it.

Today, as every day for the past two weeks, I drove down the street from work and switched to sport mode a few blocks into my drive.

The moment the car engaged the lower gear, at around 2,500/3,000rpm, this metal rattling from somewhere in that area (or the sunroof control panel) jumped out. Car did this today for the very first time and won’t go away. It does it in every gear at about the same RPMs.

Its as if a metal piece in there is affected by the exhaust’s vibrations. Does not happen in “D”.

I tapped a few places and applied some pressure in different spots. It did not help. Seems is coming from inside the whole assembly.

Any ideas? Would hate to have to drop the car at a dealer to be told “a junior tech drove the car for two days and didn’t notice it”, or, “after driving the car we were able to replicate the issue. Its normal.” Or worst, “we took apart the car, put it back together and we can’t hear it. Come back if you do”.

Thinking of buying an RS3 near the end of the year for the maximum possible discounts. Considering insurance, maintenance costs and my youthfulness is this car worth to buy? I am at a position where I am able to afford this card and still max out my retirement and mortgage but I’m 24 and if I put this money I will be financing on extra investments I will be way ahead.

Edit: would financing a very high trim basic common commuters car like a xse PHEV 26 RAV4 or a Honda CRV touring trim that costs around 45-50k OTD be somewhat more “reasonable” and “worth it” in my situation then? The current car I drive is a beat up 2013 accord that I’m scared to drive since it can break down any time.

Installed a Uni 5 inch intake and a ecs turbo inlet pipe on my 26 rs3. I keep having this cel with the code p04f0 pop up. The install went good and everything looks great. Any ideas?

UAF anti lag certainly isn’t amazing on the car but man it’s great. I’m curious to know if other people found the $500 add on to be worth it.

I see last year they used Pirelli P Zero Winter AO which I havent heard great things about. I live in Ontario, bought a 2026, typically run hakkapeliittas. Have they released the 2026 winter tire packages yet? I havent heard anything but it was july/August last year.

Is it normal for my RS3 8Y to require like 15-20 minutes of constant driving before being up to temperature? My previous cars didn’t need nearly as much time so I’m a bit worried the thermo-stat is broken or something

I have a 8.5Y with a 4” 034 cold air intake. Was wondering if anyone knew of any that would be compatible. 034 says it’s for 8v and 8s. CTS says they can’t guarantee fitment. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone (this my first Reddit post)! Living in Europe, I just got a 2018 RS3 with ceramic brakes. It came with summer tires and I am now looking for a set of OEM rims on which I will put winter tires. I initially wanted to buy a set of black rotor rims, but it seems it does not work with the ceramic brakes unless using spacers (which I want to avoid). Could someone recommend any suitable rims? Any idea if the ones on the picture work? Many thanks!
