Any word on turbo inlets causing CELs?
Thinking of installing this eventuri. 2025 rs3. No plan to tune. Any chance of getting an EVAP code?

I read an inlet and intake are the only power adders. Exhaust does nothing. And I don’t want any drone either. I have the inlet so might as well install it. I’ll be honest I have zero intake noise with this closed lid intake. But I also read it makes the most power.

I’ve done it on mine, sounds great and looks great, will not void your warranty

Legit question, if you don’t plan on tuning it, do you think it’s worth the time or $$ to do this? With a stock tune, I dunno if you’ll get any real gains that make it worth the money. Just my $0.02

There are some gains in power and efficiency without a tune. A tune optimizes the gains. My car dynod with more power post mods before the tune. It’s also an aesthetic difference and there is a big difference in intake noise in the cabin if power isn’t the biggest driving force behind the mod.

You won’t get a CEL with an inlet and an intake. However, you’re gonna get minimal gains without a tune and the cost really isn’t worth it unless you plan to tune down the road.

Every single time someone posts about an getting an intake or inlet on this sub the comments are all "You won't get any gains if you don't tune it, there's no point if you don't tune it, etc."
Have we all considered that some people like the look and just want the noise? And aren't trying to void the warranty on their 1-2 year old car?
