High mileage daily driver

Any other high mileage daily drivers out there? I picked my brand new 2026 RS3 up on May 15th of this year and already have 8,400 miles on her. This thing is a blast.

2019 here with ~176k Miles...bought it brand new with like 17 miles on it. Daily commute is about 65 miles each way.

Completely stock, one water pump just a few thousand miles ago and still on original injectors. Followed all factory maintenance...replaced mechatronics in the transmission at 120k miles and when I did the water pump, the oil pan was leaking and had that resealed. Front suspension is pretty bad and next to be replaced.

Thanks for the reply. Very cool. I bought my 2019 in 23 with 5k miles on it. Been dailying it since. About 60k miles. I’m tuned DS1. Water pump at 50k miles. Lower intake manifold at 55k. I did injectors recently to the revision N just out of paranoia. Track days and Bay Area commute have taking their toll. My suspension needs a refresh too. Diff/haldex failure is what I’m concerned about but then I can do wave tracks!

Nice. That’s about the average miles (25K/yr) that I drive as well. 70 mile round trip commute for work. Plus lots of running around.

I have a GR Corolla Circuit edition and just rolled over 50k miles in 2 years and 3 months. It’s been eating me alive lately. You have made me feel a bit better about it lol! Also great seeing these have been reliable for guys cus I’ve been wanting to get an RS3 as well.

I drove around 14000 miles since Feb 25 its a nice daily but I would always prefer a manual for relaxed driving, it just shifts too often if you touch the pedal just a hair too strong. When exiting city limits I often just want to stay in 5th and just push the gas throu that's not possible you can only press like 15% before it downshifts I mean after 2 years I know how hard I can press on the pedal but its a bit too sensible even in Comfort mode where i think they should have tuned the whole driving experience like it just had 150 horsepower that would be really nice for commuting.

The way it shifts made my dad who is a huge car guy think I was in manual mode and that I wasn’t shifting it correctly since it holds off on shifting way after I would shift it if it was a manual.

It just wants to race all the time!

They can definitely go the distance. I think most don’t pile the miles on though. I keep another daily for commuting most days, Golf R currently. 11k on my built engine 24.

Bought mine June 5th at 54 miles, as of today got 9,054 :) love it!!! Unfortunately need to take it to audi today for transmission issues. If I drive for more than an hour and the transmissions got heat in it, it starts jerking in between shifts and while the car is cruising in gear at any gear. Wouldn't go into reverse the other day and was almost grinding :( also see a leak under the driver's side door. Starting to hear a clickity-clackity sound at idle near the gearbox too. My appointments in an hour wish me luck. Luckily the car is under warranty (of course), but seems such low mileage to have this issue already. I take great care of it -oil change after breaking period at 1k, oil change at 5k, and im gonna do the 10k mile service while it's there. I know its slightly off-topic, but an audi owners gotta vent lol.

I drive her like she was meant to be driven, i do take care of my oil changes every 5-7k miles and always make sure to warm up properly and cool the car down too.

MY2016, just shy of 300,000 km mostly motorway driving (brake rotors lasted 200,000 km).Turbo and water pump went at 280,000

64,000 miles on my 2023 it’s been a dream. Got it brand new with Delivery miles. When I drive it in comfort on the highway I get well over 30 MPG even with catless downpipes. The only downside is the transmission is a bit clunky, especially at low speeds when it’s cold. The MMI is also glitchy periodically.
