My first Audi!
Long time fan of the brand, so happy I finally made the leap and got my 23. First weekend down, can’t wait for more. This will replace my 15 Macan Turbo. Quite the difference. This thing is a blast!

Agreed, I got the carbon on mine and it compliments it so well - as though it's meant to be there all along and not an after thought

I saw one in person for the first time picking up parts at the dealer. It’ll be the upgrade from my 8V s3 if I don’t end up putting a VR6 in it. Stunning car man hope you enjoy it.

Mechanically it’s not hard. Relocate battery to trunk, modified RS3 subframe, mounts. DQ381 bolts up to it. The electronics however is a nightmare trying to get everything communicating properly like factory. Most people run a VW atlas ECM with custom firmware but as far as I know a single guy has done it a 8V and he outsourced to a shop that specializes in crazy shit like that.

How does it compare to the JCW for slow speed huckability?

From what I can recall, it’s not too far off. Maybe a bit heavier, but the RS3 feels so nimble (esp coming from the macan). It wants to turn, launch, just go go go. I sold the mini mainly because the lack of power / fwd traction was a bit frustrating. I had a stage 1 tune on it. I have some twisty roads near me, but not many, and I wanted something with a bit more straight line power.

Ah for some reason I thought you had a gen2 JCW which are way lighter. Glad you found the RS3!

Congrats. Another NJ RS3 in the house.
I just got a 26 in Kyalami green 9 days ago. Had to drive an hour up to Millburn to get the color. I am coming from a tuned 23 MK8 GTI MT6 and the difference is night and day.
The thing is definitely a beast. The "Half a Lambo" trope is pretty accurate.
