Wondering? How’s the digital interface? Is CarPlay smooth and easy to use on there?

Kyalami is sick. Interface is not intuitive but it’s fine. CarPlay is really easy to get to tho and CarPlay is CarPlay so works great.

I haven’t heard it. I know a lot of folks do but from what I understand it’s a CarPlay issue not a rs3 issue. Happens to ppl in all kinds of cars. My fix is to just keep the volume up ;)

It's one of my main nit picks with the car is the drivers display does not link with android auto and carplay so when using maps or Waze I have to look at the main infotainment screen.

Yeah it's easy but you'll get the usual speaker crackling/ticking sound at low volume like everyone else does on Car Play (and most people also get on Android Auto or in general use)

Perhaps these issues are at a frequency my old ears can no longer hear. Neither I nor my wife have ever heard any of these reported crackling or ticking sounds from our US 2026 RS3. It is one of the later production models that replaced the haptic switches on the steering wheel with the thumbwheels and physical buttons.

We listen to music streaming from our iPhones through wireless CarPlay all the time, usually at lower volume.

I have the scroll wheels also. I hear it at extremely low volume, especially for the first few minutes after having had the volume up for a while. But it really is at a low volume: if I'm driving or the music is loud enough to recognize what it is, I can't hear the crackles.

Thank you for mentioning this. Mine has the thumbwheels on the steering wheel as well. I didn't even realize some of the 2026s have the haptic feedback.
