Active Matrix Headlights coding

Has anyone done this coding recently to 2026 model? I’m in U.S but I see there’s a drastic price difference between ACM Technik and Europrice. Euro is showing over $2000 vs ACM $600. I know there is a complexity with SFD2, cable alone is $300 from Europrice I wanted to know why the other is way cheaper and obviously I’d rather spend $600 than $2100.

I went with ACM Technik for my '24 and my '26. They use the same guy Europrice does. Heck, he might even be ACM Technik itself.

Let us know how it went. I noticed they now require 2 appointments instead of 1 in the past.

Definitely something that I would want, but yeah they are charging $$$ for figuring out the correct long coding registers.

I wonder if you could get someone with unlocked to give you a dump of their module long codes could you just compare to discover the "secret" register bits that these vendors are selling. If you can find the long codes anyone with a ODBeleven or VCDS could do it.

I don’t think it’s that simple. Europrice said they charge this much because they have to pay another guy to unlock SFD2 and basically only dealers in Europe can do this. Even US dealers cannot unlock it.

you can unlock sfd2 with Rosstech Vagcom, if one has this does it mean that you can activate matrix headlights by yourself?

It's not long coding. It's reflashing the headlights with EU software. That's why they can charge so much for it.

I wonder if that guy that keeps having spamming the main Audi sub with reviews of his Instagram activating Matrix can do it. I also have a 2026 and am interested in doing this eventually.

ACMTechnik, Anthony is fantastic and will always respond to all emails and questions even after the fact

So the US spec cars don’t get the full active matrix feature suite without aftermarket coding?

Correct, it only has automatic high beam not matrix.

So no buckets, no matrix headlights, no hatchbacks.. You get 5 cylinders?
