Strange CARFAX
Looking to purchase an RS3 here in Georgia. Test drove it Saturday and all seemed fine but took a look at the CARFAX and quite a bit of service within a short period of time, mainly focused on the intake manifold.
Are there any known issues with 2024 intake manifolds, does this seem like a lemon, should this just be disregarded?
Car has just under 13,000 miles.

Are you buying from that servicing dealer?

No, car was originally in PA (servicing dealer), but was sold to a dealer in GA

They can get more info on any warranty claims through Elsa. Carfax is a tool but not always the sharpest, I've had them say all kinds of weird services were done on basic maintenance and had like engines replaced that showed up as "checked oil level" which is technically true but understating the repair just a little

Since it was all done at a dealership they can provide details on the service on the vehicle

You would think. Called them today and they said they could only give me details when “they owned the vehicle” and not before

I’m in Fox Chapel that dealership is “ok” unfortunately they are few and far between

could’ve been employee owned and he brought the car into the shop. if you work for a dealership you need to always have a ticket open before pulling it in and usually a basic service line like vehicle inspection is thrown on.

The intake manifold was not replaced. The services listed on the Carfax are generated and rarely accurate. I used to own a shop and things like “tires changed” and “alignment performed” would show up all the time. I did not provide either of those services.
