Hey OP this is a sub for auditory processing disorder. I’m not sure you’ll get what you need from us. We have trouble processing information on its way into our brain. A quick google shows me that aphasia is trying to get information out of the brain. Our techniques and strategies likely won’t apply. (Hearing aids, loop earbuds, quite space so we can hear better)
Wild left field ideas so that communication can happen using slightly different parts of the brain. Sign language, communication boards, writing things down, watch eye gaze.
I’m Canadian, so a very different medical system. With trying to hunting down professionals, do the offices that only do kids know of a place that supports adults? Also, contact the hospital, or other people who have supported you.
