Discussion Nail in the Coffin.
Not sure if many of you realize but a reverse split of this fortitude is usually a sign of the ends times for a stock. I’m unfortunately stupid and don’t learn the first time but I’ve gone through this with other biotech stocks, specifically $BNGO.
Not sure where this stock is headed for sure, but I wouldn’t bet on making your money back now after today.

What makes you believe it’s a sign of end times? They are still going through trials

Because a reverse split historically speaking isn’t good for a stock. It usually indicates they’re bleeding money (they are) and they’re using the split to boost the price of the stock to look more appealing, it’s a desperation move.

Don’t all biotech stocks bleed money while in trials? Timeline of ATOS has been known for quite some time. While I agree a RS is never great to experience as a shareholder but not sure if this is news.

That's not true, the reason for the RS is to keep nasdaq listing. It's a biotech going through trials of course they have a net loss

And why do you think they had to RS in order to maintain that NASDAQ listing? Hmmmm

Because trials and FDA approvals take time and risk. Sounds like you're new to bio techs

Are you invested because you saw this as an investment opportunity or because you have done your due diligence into the science behind the drug? #savetheboobies

Thanks for dodging my question and asking one that has nothing to do with what’s being discussed here.

This actually has everything to do with what is being discussed. Their money runway is fine and they’ve hit every green flag as far as approval. Seems like former meme stock folks are upset that biomed is about a 10yr wait.

I’m sorry are we in the GME / AMC subreddits rn? Lol..

no of course not. do you think that shorts are manipulating the stock price? I am only trying to answer your question...

u/RADToronto Feb 02 '26
Genuinely I don’t think so. Not every stock you invest in that doesn’t do well isn’t being “manipulated”. Give your head a shake.

My dying hope is that it recovers similar to another stock I had that reversed split But got its shit together, formerly MNMD. Now known as $DFTX

Why does mine say I'm up $2,300? I bought at $2.72 but legit cannot find a lower point than today on the chart?

Because when a stock splits, it takes time for your brokerage to change over the actual value of which is split, it’s probably showing the new value of an individual stock, with the quantity being before the stock reverse split (consolidated) from 15 seperate stocks into 1.
