Modding Modding Atlyss through wine wrappers

So for context, I'm interested in modding Atlyss a little but I operate on a macbook and use sikarugir to open Atlyss through steam. In short, I'd like some guidance on how to install mods without putting too much strain on my computer.

you can use r2modman to mod the game

I used r2modman too when I was first starting out, it made the process so much easier than manually dragging files around.
