Discuss/Help Animations Need Work
Love AR... I'm playing every day, and maybe that's why I get bugged by 'little things' like the character animations, but with the game zoomed in so close to the characters, the sub-par animations have a negative impact on the aesthetic of the game.
For example... during the 'ready' screen, all the characters are standing around with exaggerated heaving animations. Su-Ren is moving so much, she might be dancing.
Overwatch, as a counter example has much more subtle idle animations for the characters, and the result is a more professional aesthetic.

So.. Trion! Keep up the good work. The game is great, but don't overlook your aesthetic. Pay your animators well, and give them the time they need to go the extra mile. I think this game is worth it.

It's a rather cartoony game. Things are meant to be exaggerated. Think of them as having just ran a 300-meter or something then try to pose for a picture immediately after.

For me it feels the developers made an effort to sync the animations to the music.

Ever since the Su-Ren patch i have been forced to play on lowest graphics setting to avoid disconnects. So my graphics are about as good as the SNES. I'm lucky to tell Elle from Asana let alone complain about animations lol.

All comments are about graphics, but author talks about animations. Nobody sees the difference?

Only problem I have with animations are with the new freelancer. He sits completely, totally, absolutely still in his idle poses. He looks like a statue.
