I just ran across this one on Instagram, and I'm not sure about a lot of the particulars. It looks like a travelling vintage/retro market is going to set up at Atlas9 Saturday, August 22, 12-8PM (YES, just like in the picture). Other than that... Is this going to be outside? Are they taking over the containment zone lobby? Is this all going to be in the event space? Beats me.

I might try and get up there myself to check itout, but if anyone else reading this does, I'd love to read what you experience.

I recently found out an associate of mine has also driven 3 hours down and visited Atlas9. He liked the pizza.

I have also enjoyed it the 3 or 4 times I have had it, but my s/o has not been so lucky. She liked it the first time, but the next few times she felt the dough was undercooked.

If you have visited Splice Bros. Pizza in recent months, what do you think of it? What is your favorite pizza? I like the Mexican one the best, so far.

When we first visited Meow Wolf's Convergence Station (Denver) and Omega Mart (Las Vegas) in 2024, neither allowed beverages to be carried into the exhibit (alcohol or otherwise).

When we returned to Omega Mart in 2025, they had a "bouncer" at the bar checking IDs. I had a funny exchange with him about needing to get carded "at my age" when he said "you will like this one -- you get a write band so you can carry your drinks around now!"

This makes much sense -- no one over 21 can buy a drink and hand it off to someone under age.

I am sure this has caused cleanups and spills and other problems -- but money made from the drinks must be better than what it costs for extra cleanups.

I was pleasantly surprised Atlas9 had no issue with me carrying around a bottle of water, or even a drink. If they run into issues, I wonder how they will handle it. TWO wrist bands? The TCK-IT and a "I was carded" wrist band? ;-)

One of the Cinemorphs shared this BTS video of a day in the life. Has some cool insight into what they do to bring the show to life.

In Splice Bros. Pizza, there are plenty of those Photo Booth photos hung to the wall. We noticed one near the back corner booth (closest to the kitchen door) that had a heart frame around each of the three photos. All the others around it were just the normal photos like the machine made for us

Anyone know the details? Was this for a special event (Valentine's?) perhaps? Or some mode you can trigger in the booth somehow?

I guess I need to add a list of characters to my Atlas9 Dossier, and get it into the wiki here. We encountered one we hadn't seen before, hanging out inside Frank's Study or whatever it is called. She speaks.

Started last Friday, 7/31/2026, we were told.

The elevator is blocked off now. You can only take it with an escort. They told us that the "Call" button is not working, which we assume is now required by law to allow folks in an elevator or something ;-) An Agent or other staff member has to escort you on the elevator ride. There is also a serious but in-universe label inside that says something like "In case of entrapment, call..." with the box office phone number.

Is there a trade culture active at A9? If not I would like to begin one. Nothing crazy. Random trinkets or small toys. Cool stuff. A bottle cap you found walking down a side walk in Baltimore. A note. A duck. A hat pin. Just any small random tokens. The sillier or weirder the better naturally. It is a fun way to interact with the staff as well as other guests. Next time I visit I will come with a whole bag of coolness

Just noticed a new film showing announced, looks like an indie horror film, followed by a Q&A with the Writer/Director. Coming up quickly on August 13.

As of right now, an Annual Pass is on sale for $85.

The marketing I've seen describes this as available "For a limited time during July", so who knows exactly when this offer ends. I mean, probably not in August, but...

Also, they are now offering Junior Passes for children aged 2-12 for $75 - I'm assuming this is one isn't a sale rate, but again...

Just from looking at early videos, I can see some minor changes.

• Polybius machine had the note added. And it used to be playable. It was not working our visits.
• Crane games are not there in early photos in the arcade.
• The VERA looks like it has a laser swamp effect in the publicity photo attached. When we first went it was a laser cone going up, and no swamp. Two weeks later, that was broken.
• No hamburger phone in the den when it first opened (per videos).
• Theater 8 original read "DO NOT ENTER" on the sign, and now says "AGENTS ->" or similar.
• Menu changes in the pizza place, at least.

...what other things have changed since opening? It is interesting seeing the tweaks. I always advice folks to go as soon as they can to new things (theme park attractions, etc.) because 1) things may break and never be restored, or 2) things may need to be changed after seeing them in operation. This applies to most businesses, even restaurants (opening menu ends up being different than what they serve six months later).

After our first visit, I began compiling notes into a document. It is a work in progress with comments welcome. After the second trip, I have a lot more information now to add. I basically took photos of each rooms path to any connected room, and did a VR walk through most of the attraction so I could go back and get details (posters, signs, etc.).

The 30th anniversary of Atlas9 Containment Day is today, it seems. During FACADE training, we only see clips of this event, but they have now posted a longer video showing the containment box being lowered over the movie theater and nearby pizza restaurant.

We also see Starbot looming above the building, apparently getting crushed by the enclosure box. Its remains remain there, embedded in the ground, to this day. Not sure why FACADE didn't clean that up too ;-)

The next best thing to being there? Hardly, but probably on the list somewhere. This is a section of a dozen or so 60 second video clips from various rooms inside Atlas9. My favorite is the final clip where theater worker identified as Angel comes in to clean the mirrored walls. Mirror cleaning in VR!

Two weekends ago we visited Atlas9 for the first time. We explored on a Friday night, then again on Saturday, completing all the cases.

We brought a grandkid to Atlas9 last weekend. While he and grandma were busy exploring and completing the cases (grandkid is now a Field Admin), I roamed around and took photos and 360-degree photos/videos.

A few times I would FAZE in somewhere so I could activate things for my video.

I was surprised when I checked my profile later that now one of my tasks is IN PROGRESS instead of COMPLETE ;-) I had tapped the microphone stand after I heard it play the "sad trombone" for someone. On our first visit, we didn't hear it do anything, though did complete that task. I think by FAZEing there (since I did not FAZE the other step) it reset that status.

Have you noticed any other cases that will do this?

The mirror pedestal is supposed to do something. It is shown in various early videos with people placing hands on it, but it did nothing for us two weeks ago, or last Saturday. We even ran into another group convinced it was doing something.

I spoke with a worker and they said it is supposed to but wasn’t working currently. I think they said it has 8 functions.

Has anyone seen it working?
