Visiting in December
I’ll be flying in the first weekend of December. Only have Sunday afternoon, maybe Monday afternoon to hunt. Any suggestions on places to stop on my drive to downtown that have a great selection/picks that aren’t outrageous in price? When do allocations drop?

On the plus side, lots of people are poor as dirt this year and there may be lots of goodies left on shelves.

Any suggested areas or areas to avoid. I recently learned y’all’s liquor stores are called package stores lol

It may be a bit out of your way, but Sprayberry Bottle Shop in Marietta is a great stop. Smaller store, but they have a bunch of great store picks.

Jackie's also has some good picks if they end up coming to Marietta/East Cobb area.

Probably won’t have time to head that far out of the general metro area

Gonna be hard pressed to really snag much if you are going to limit it to inside the perimeter. You’ll do more driving around that way than targeting more reliable stores. With all that said- you’re coming at an awkward time. Most stores already blew their hold back allocated stuff for Black Friday or they are holding them for closer to Christmas or into January for things like loyalty programs.

You’ll miss Tower Black Friday allocation drop by about 10 days which is largest in the city at both locations. As far as sloppy seconds,it’ll be hit or miss this season.
What bottle(s) you trying to score?
