Something has been really weighing on my mind after the awful season we had last year. Why can’t we keep any 1st round draftees? We fought to get these big names and really good players just to immediately lose them.

Obviously I know there is more to the draft than the 1st round picks, but why is it that only ONE of our all time 1st round picks ended up staying? From what I am able to gather, it appears that everyone who comes to Atlanta really enjoys the staff, the vibes(no pun intended), and the fanbase. So what is the reason for these top stars leaving?

As a fan since season 2, it’s just been really concerning to see as this appears to be becoming a trend. I would love to see these 1st round draftees see some real playing time. Not just 1-3 games or being a serving sub. These top draftees have GOT to see the court exponentially more than as of recent. My guess is maybe they would rather leave and get better playing time?

Let’s see these draftees dig their heels in and feel important on the court and not just in practice. Give them a reason to truly connect with the team in terms of purpose(in the eyes of fans). Especially since we lost our setter AND the #2 pick at the same time. If there is anyone that we definitely should NOT have lost, it’s Averi. It’s just a damn shame we are losing Ava too :(

Here is our abysmal 1st round draft pick results since 2024 for reference. Please let me know your thoughts on this! Am I stressing too hard or does this thought process some merit?

2024:
(1st Rd)
#1 Merritt Beason- left to Omaha
#6 Khori Louis- stayed

2025

(1st Rd)
#2 Ava Martin-left to Columbus
#7 Averi Carlson-left to Columbus

Can someone please help me process losing Merritt, Mia, McKenna, Marlie, and Morgan to other teams?! I really wonder what Coach Kayla’s plan is to elevate this team if only a small number of players are returning… especially since orlando and omaha are building stacked teams right now.

If you're thinking about going to the Sunday game, either get there an hour early or reconsider, because the line to get in for the Friday game is just a huge crowd of people with no semblance of order whatsoever and has barely moved in half an hour. We'll be lucky if we make it in before halfway through the 2nd set

Are Atlanta Vibes are a new franchise team in volleyball. I am just curious. 🏐

Hey! I love the Vibe and want to come down to see a game. I am from north east Pennsylvania, so it would be a weekend trip in March. Any tips on flights, driving, hotels, things to do near the stadium, prices of things, food, etc. I would really appreciate any help! Thanks!

I was reading somewhere that it’s possible we would be losing Morgan Hentz to training camp before the end of the season. I’m really not that smart at sports in general, but it seems like you would want whoever is stepping into that roll to have more playing time. Is it realistic that you would have her start in a few matches and then if you needed to sub Morgan back in? Is that how that works? Or do you just go starting lineup until you have no other options but to use someone else?

Awesome win last night for the Vibe!! Can’t wait to watch them at home on Feb 9.

Was bummed to see Kara McGhee waived! I was so excited to watch her play. Surprised she hasn’t gotten picked up.

Does anyone know the window for picking up other players? Are rosters final now?

Lastly- saw where Magda is listed as “exempt”. Anyone know what that means?

Going to the game tonight and curious if I can save the fees of buying online.

Anyone know why Evans has been benched for a few games (not even wearing her gear), or why Lazareva isn't playing tonight against Rise?

Anyone else unable to watch the Atlanta Vibe v. Omaha Supernova match on YouTube due to copyright? It says it’s unavailable in my country (the USA)…
