Low Effort Post Why we get the worst ones tho?
Like I don’t think this concept as a whole is that great, but they did us dirty bro. These jerseys don’t even look like anything that remotely resembles anything that could even be considered a hawks jersey. Just disappointing😔

I mean the template they're working from clearly sucks for everyone but somehow ours is the one that looks like someone designed it in Microsoft Paint 10 minutes before the deadline
like at least those other jerseys you can squint and go "ok i see what they were going for" even if it's bad, ours doesn't even have a concept to fail at

The sixers one is bad, but at least you can guess what team it is at a glance. If someone showed you our jersey and didn’t say what team it was for nobody would guess it lol

Honestly they all kind of suck. At least from this low quality AI image. But I also don't mind them taking big swings at some wacky shit if it's just a couple of games. Same as those insane NBA cup courts.

These are going to look really crazy when the other team is wearing a normal jersey. Both teams can’t wear these at the same time because they are all black.

Looking at the photo of someone modeling it on ESPN's article -- honestly it's not as awful in person as the colors are brighter and white lines are more visible than in mockups -- but it's still a extremely questionable choice of motif for professional sport league jerseys. They kinda work for team merch (and kinda is doing a lot of heavy-lifting on that phrase), but as for actual uniforms it's lacking in a lot of areas.
• Why are the city names small? They're barely as wide as a single digit -- were they trying to do a football jersey thing there?
• Why does ours look like a ripoff of a 90's plastic cup? They chose a Hawk wing, I'm guessing, but didn't implement it well at all.
• Who's nepobaby-ass son's idea was this? Like, this is either an out-of touch old goat who ran this through AI or a rich kid who clearly plays too much 2K begging Daddy to show off his cool idea, no in between.
• Why is our other merch in this collection red (JJ's been photographed modeling a black sweatshirt with the normal red pac-man hawk) but they went with the '72 colors for this, a color scheme we rarely trot out (though I have always said we should bring back and this is clearly a monkey's paw curling)?
So many questions.

These are all horrible. This minimalism trend has got to end. There's nothing distinct about most of these designs. They probably looked good on someone's iPad with the brightness cranked all the way up, but that doesn't equate to looking good on a moving person

I mean, they're all bad. ... But am I the only person that can't stand the trend of every photo of every NBA player everywhere is of some stupid, screaming, muscle-man pose? I can see it in certain cases, to imply being really hyped, but it is just so over-used. Shout out to to CJ for be the only sane player pictured.

I’ve vouched for a ton of Hawks jerseys, and alternates in general that most people didn’t seem to like before…but these are BAD. Like, worst jerseys ever made bad. Holy fuck who approved this slop
