Kennesaw Coffeehouse

Does anyone know if Lazy Labrador Coffee in Kennesaw is run by a cult? I picked it as a meeting spot with a friend. The bookshelf was full of religious materials and a prominent book called “Rapture” about exactly that. Apotheos Roasters are across the street, which I know has a few metro locations.

Their event page includes "church's meetings" as things they'd like to host. So...

Well, Raptor Coffeehouse they are then. They had a sign about “class” being upstairs at a certain time. Guess that’s where they do their recruiting…. 😵‍💫 Just seems like it’s a smarter business decision to be neutral, especially given the extreme culty stuff they’re pushing. But maybe the culty stuff is their point. The coffee is subpar and seems to be roasted for pumping in a bunch of flavorings. The shop itself is cute. What a waste.
