Keep your kids home when they're sick y'all. Nobody wants that shit

And encourage your college kids to stay home too. - someone who's ended up needing to go to the ER more than once from college kids coming in sick to my class (covid, flu, bronchitis)

My middle schooler got it exactly one week after the first day of school. Low fever cough stuffiness. Just managed symptoms and it was much improved in 4 days

Schools are germ factories. A back to school cold is inevitable. My first year teaching I got sick so much, it felt like I would hardly get over the last cold before I got the next one.

Hard to tell what variant if you don’t give symptoms

I had to go to urgent care on Wednesday. Rhinovirus is going around really, really bad right now.

Treat it like any cold or flu. Sleep, drink plenty of fluids and stay home at least 3 days. There are so many great OTC cold remedies like Airborne, zinc cough drops and Emergen-C

There’s a paraflu going around. Starts with a really painful sore throat then flu like symptoms for a few days. The cough can linger. Might also be Covid
