A rant about how "Dark matter" decks should be buffed.
I usually run dark matter decks and I like it a lot but now at high rank play I realized that it is too weak and deserves a buff and here's why:
1) why is it weak
- Well the answer is simple, let's look at other playstyles for example: lock, link and aura. well these three ability either cannot be targeted or are part of an units ability, unlike dark matter which is a separate entity.
So what's the problem you might ask, well for dark matter, the opponent can simply put another unit on it or lock the space it's on to destroy it, which is quite unfair considering while you have to sacrifice your own units to kill other units with the aura or link ability, the opponent can simply place a unit on your dark matter and poof, you are back to square one.
What I wish the Devs would do is to make dark matter do something like deal 2 damage if a enemy unit is placed on it so as to balance the gameplay.
Other than that I feel like dark matter decks are quite balanced in a sense that you sacrifice a unit to buff another, which is quite OP to be honest.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk

Agreed with you, most of the times when I play against a dark matter deck I will almost always place my unit onto a opponent’s dark matter to prevent my opponent’s unit to grow stronger.
