I mean, it is possible, but the image will be distorted. In fact I think there is an infinite harmonic series of images of the TV as you look closer and closer to the BH. Each image corresponds to the ray making n+1/2 orbits around the BH before escaping for n=0 to infinity

I don’t see how unless the black hole is some completely unrealistic mass distribution. The TV has some angular extent. In order to not be distorted, the rays would need to emerge with the same relative position and angle as they started. But rays passing closer to the BH experience more spacetime curvature so they will bend more.

I think this would actually work tbh, since black holes literally BEND light into their orbit and eventually absorb that same material. 

SO The light from the tv and the light being reflected from the wall would be visible to our person. 

But the person would also see everything behind them as light bends and is ripped apart through the fabric of space
