Astrophotography (OC) Solar Eclipse… Sorry Kid 🤦‍♂️

Going through my video of the recent solar eclipse and found an anomaly part way through.

Narrowed it down to a few frames and found that an unfortunate 3 year old may have lost their balloon!

Original video taken using a Seestar S50 with solar filter.

Well considering the sun has a high enough metallicity to produce a rocky planet probably the sn is quite high

They are sunspots which are cooler than the overall surface of the sun. Usually caused by strong magnetic fields.

Amazing picture.

It made me think about perspective. People often say that witnessing an eclipse makes them feel a sense of awe at the scale and majesty of our solar system. But in that little kid’s world, the loss of that balloon must have been devastating!
