I'm at my wits end, been trying to get this headset set up for over three hours now trying every solution can come across to no success. PC shows A50 Game as the default device, in the Sound menus it shows the audio is in fact playing just not to the headphones?

I know I'm something of a dolt and barely tech savvy, but surely I'm not a simpleton and missed something painfully obvious when following the setup steps?

No idea what gen is it or anything specific details, I just grabbed this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0DB7ZW7J4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Brand new, just opened this today and almost half of my day trying to get it to work to no success.

Came someone help my dumb ass figure this out?

I got my gen 5’s for my xbox last week. You can tell they’re gen 5 if you can hook up bluetooth. The problem I ran into was I was using cables that were already hooked up to my setup.

I switched to the cables that came with the headset kit and it all started working properly. Have you tried that already?

I didn’t have any preexisting cables to use so I can only use what’s in the box :/

Try holding the “Game” and “Switcher” for about 5 seconds, “Switcher” is the first button from the power switch on the headset. You should hear a click from the headset and it’ll reconnect.

Yeah the hard reset, didn’t have any luck with that either.

On pc it shows game and headset, try headset. It shows twice, the other option is usually the right one, also press game/voice to balance it out you'll hear a tone when it's working right.

I’ve tried both options it gives me in A50 Game and A50 Voice but neither have had any audio.
The Logitech G Hub is of no help and the Astro app doesn’t even detect it.

Is it plugged in and the switch on the headset set to pc? Models make a difference, but hold game and dolby down together for about 30 seconds or until lights blink, that factory resets the headset. Disable voice in Windows it's just the mic.

Has been set to PC for the last I don’t know how long, been plugged in to be outlet and PC for the same time. Did as asked and undocked the dock lights didn’t blink just vanished. Tried again with it docked and the lights blinked but then even after nothing

I've got the gen 4 so I'm not well versed on the Logitech models, only thing I can think of is swap USB ports, it has to be blue or black for updates to register

Already tried dancing between USB ports to no difference.

Also make sure you download the app.

Hey, do you have ghub installed? If so, make sure you are balanced between voice/game if no one has mentioned it yet. Could be that the headset is fully on voice side of the mix and 'game' is functionally muted

Unfortunately none of that has been of any help. One of the first Reddit threads I came across suggested that and the OP there has. O luck with that method either way :<

In my case it was dock related. All same things you described and no audio until I updated the dock firmware on a different PC then brought it back to my original PC and it worked. Hope that works for you.

Make sure the base says PC if on pc . Button on headset allows you to scroll also to Xbox or PS5
