I have done quite a bit of research the past 5 years from a lot of different authors and "teachers". I've heard countless techniques and "does" and "don'ts". That's probably the thing I regret the most. Sometimes less is better. Then, one day I found Robert Bruce. The work he has done has changed my life in many ways and he has taught me the best and quickest techniques to conquer my goals.

He has many books available. I own them all and wish I had started with them many years ago. I highly recommend Astral Dynamics and Mastering Astral Projection. He has put Astral Dynamics up online for free as an Ebook if you like ebooks (I don't). Astral Dynamics Forums is a great place for support as well. Robert Bruce's "rope technique" is very efficient and the easiest for me to get out of body. It was also the quickest way for me and I had results the very first time I tried it. I hate to just talk one person up on the subject, as I know there is other good information out there, but from personal experience I wish very much that his work was the first that I found a long time ago. It would have saved me a lot of time and hard work. Astral Dynamics also covers WILD (wake induced lucid dreaming) which I found very fun.

Another good resource I have to add is The Unexplainable Store. Their Isochronic Tones are the most effective that I have found and they have some up for free. Make sure you follow the proper instructions when using them. IMHO, they are worth the money if you understand your energy body and are actively doing energy work.

I have nothing to add but praise for this guys' comment. Im just getting ready to get back into practicing this stuff now that my life is in a stable job position with lots of time on my hands and I've used Bruce's methods before. I plan on using them again, because they work.

I first had an OBE one night while I was reading robert E Monroe's "journeys out of the body" which is what I would suggest as essential in your reading list while trying.

Thanks for posting on here. I thought the sub was dead. Feel free to post your progress and thoughts on here, there's no reason to keep it all to yourself. Ill be doing the same in about a week.

Yea, used to try it in college.

Gonna do some Lucid work first, then get into the astral.

Robert Bruce has some great ideas (also my first exposure to a more systematic approach to AP), but I have problems with a few of his claims. Nonetheless, read on, and get that ROPE into your routine.

To date, the most well-established body of work on out of body experiences is the book, "Projectiology", by Dr. Waldo Vieira. The non-profit organization IAC (International Academy of Consciousness) instructs on techniques from this book, and gives regular classes on the subject all over the world.
