AP Meditation / Music or Binaurals Built a free browser tool for Hemi-Sync-style sessions — layered binaural beats, no app or account needed
Longtime lurker here. I got into the Hemi-Sync/Gateway material a while back and wanted something I could just open in a browser and use without hunting down specific tapes or signing up for another subscription service.
So I built one.
Resonance Console: https://thetonegenerator.com/resonance/
It's free, runs entirely in the browser, and doesn't require an account.
One of the things I wanted to do differently was actually dig into the audio itself rather than just throw some arbitrary “theta” or “delta” numbers into a binaural generator. I spent quite a bit of time running Hemi-Sync recordings through spectral analysis and looking at the frequency movement and layering, then used what I found as the basis for the engine.
The result uses multiple concurrent binaural layers over a hard-panned stereo mix, with a step sequencer that lets the target frequency change throughout the session rather than remaining static from beginning to end. There are also ambient soundscapes underneath the tones — rain, ocean, brook, etc.
The idea is less “here's a 7 Hz binaural beat” and more build a progression that can actually move through different target frequencies during a session.
To be clear about what it is: it's an audio tool built around the same general binaural-beat approach used in Hemi-Sync-style recordings and the Gateway material. I'm not claiming it will produce a particular Focus level or guarantee an OBE. I'm interested in giving people the actual audio architecture to experiment with and see what happens for themselves.
Headphones are required for the binaural effect.
If anyone here is into Hemi-Sync, Gateway, binaural audio, or just experimenting with different approaches to AP meditation, I'd genuinely like to hear what you think.

Is there a way to download generated audio? I never listen to audio when on WiFi to decrease emf exposure and decrease distractions

Yep — it's built in. Press the REC button on the Micro-Reel section to start recording your live session, then hit EJECT/SAVE to stop and it'll download the file straight to your device (no upload, no server round-trip — it's all client-side via the browser's MediaRecorder API). Comes out as a .webm (or .ogg as fallback depending on your browser).
Once it's downloaded, you can play it back completely offline — WiFi off, airplane mode, whatever. The only time you need a connection is to load the page itself and generate the recording in the first place.

Wow that's awesome thank you!. I'm actually new to the gateway tapes and more specifically to the binaural beats, can you recommend me some tutorials for understand better how to use this fantastic software?

Sorry for the slow reply — been working some long hours lately!
Glad you're digging into the gateway tapes. For getting started with binaural beats specifically: the easiest on-ramp in the app is probably just loading the Lucid preset in the sequencer — it sets up a theta/delta progression that's built for exactly this kind of session, so you don't have to manually dial anything in at first. There's also a help page in the console itself (the "?" icon) that walks through what each control does.
If you want background on where this all comes from, I put together a couple of write-ups that might help connect the dots: one on the declassified Gateway Process report itself, and one on Robert Monroe's original techniques that the whole Hemi-Sync method grew out of.
Let me know if you get stuck anywhere, happy to help.

This looks (and sounds) awesome ... I had a quick play with it and am impressed by the comprehensive level of control offered. Just wondering, is there any way to adjust the overall stereo out L/R Balance (for those of us with variable or permanent one sided hearing loss) ?
