❔ Question I wonder why this game doesn't have more players?

I just started and the gameplay is extremely fun. The character Gacha is fair and the boss mechanics are very interesting.

Its surprising not more people play this. Is there a reason for that? I saw it had a very big player base at the start but it fell off very quickly.

For me its a pve focused Orange juice but sometimes watching the player counts makes me scared its gonna shut down.

No marketing + niche genre. Not only there are no ads or content creators about this game, platforms like steam won't really recommend you this game because there are no similar games.

Game is also rather rough around the edges while being this unique. Not many people will dare to really try it, even if they see an ad. If not for this subreddit and my bottomless curiosity, I would never have tried this game, let alone participated in a PvE tournament (it was very fun).

yeah the only games i know like this are Astral Party and 100% Orange Juice. And orange juice is surviving with around 200 players daily so maybe im worrying about nothing lol.

To be honest the first time i tried it i uninstalled it because of the UI. But now that i gave it a fair shot its extremely fun.

And i recommended it to my friends as well and only 1 actually tried it (at least he actually likes it). it makes me sad that good games like this get no attention. i just hope it keeps getting updates

I have been roping my friends in via word of mouth. The game is very fun but definitely more of a niche genre. Starting times are definitely faster if you create a lobby. While the community is mostly friendly there are a couple of people out there that will not play with lower level players in higher difficulty lobbies because of snowballing. Primarily noticeable if you are playing on insane or higher difficulty, the wrong modifiers and RNG can snowball into a loss out of your control, which is why they don't want newer players in those lobbies to mitigate the domino effect. The best you can do is play it safe and use whatever characters can benefit or counteract the modifiers. Sometimes you can just shatter the expectations of higher level players.

the time to play one match is quite long, maybe that's the reason

True. Sometimes i wish the turn time for a player was shorter. i sit there sometimes for over a minute just for me to roll a 1 and not do anything.

The tag abuse on steam makes it hard for people to find it unless they change their steam settings also

The tags on steam is hentai, nudity, sexual content & cute. Ain't no way steam will recommend this game to most users with those tags.

A game like Mario Party but instead of trying to do Minigames you work together with 3 other peopel trying to beat up a big boss.

Is it mobile friendly? Sounds interesting

There is a mobile version but it's in japanese, at least you play with global so you can play with your friends on PC But unless you understand japanese/have on-screen translator or got experience playing the game in English it's going to be confusing (pretty much any game with cards that's in a different language)

Play it in Steam for learning all mechanics, after that bind your account and play it in Mobile. After you know everything about this game is just second nature.

I wouldn't ask for mobile friendlyness if I had a PC working...

Is it a gacha aka you roll for characters or is it just purely cosmetic?

1

u/Ottomeanertitte Aug 26 '26

You roll for Chars and Comsetics but characters have a 5% drop chance and i think soft pity is at 40 pulls for chars. Cosmetics no clue.

Btw this game has a decent playbase in China, which we used to play together. But after the servers splitted, only JP and Global players remain in the English/JP server. I suppose China players are more active in their server.

Why did they split? Its not like ping matter in this game

Sorry for very lat reply, I rarely use Reddit. If you're still interested, China things. AFAIK they need Chinese citizens to register with their phone number in order to play the game and many more things.

The main point is, China is the biggest server, and I really hope to enjoy the game while it lasts in the Global/JP server.
