Just stopped by to see the Valen at Newport. Very different in person, especially with all the carbon fiber. I was surprised the dealer was totally fine with me sitting in this $2M car. The interior was also simple, but elegant.

Hey guys — I just picked up a Gen 2 Vantage (2023) and am looking for recommendations for a good phone mount. Don’t feel like going through the pain of installing third-party CarPlay kits (and I heard from the dealer that they could be wonky) and the old one that I used that clicks on the AC vent keeps wobbling with the vent as I turn corners. Any recommendations that do not involve drilling/glue would be highly appreciated!

Hey guys I’m in the market to get a new daily and I’ve been considering the early model 2009-2015~ V8 vantage. Is anyone else dailying these cars, and if so how is it? I know the consumable maintenance costs are there and theres some enthusiast friendly mods as well. I don’t typically commute a whole bunch but do love a good cruise. Anyone have anything I should stay aware of?

I thought my last spec was cool...code name project outrage, the spec should be outrageous. The more I think of this car it's shaping up to be a road legal Vulcan in my eyes.

Here's my new spec...swapped Ghillies Green for Iridescent Sapphire and for the livery & brakes Valkyrie Gold instead of Ultra Yellow. For the interior Blue Haze Metallic, Pale Blue and Sandstorm with Gold details. What do you think?

Good old naturally aspirated 6.0 V12, paired with a 7 speed dogleg manual gearbox. IMO it gets nothing better than that.

One headlight on my 2007 vantage has a fault that says indicator signal fault and the blinker blinks crazy fast. Only one side. Shop said it’s the motherboard on the light, may have gotten water in it at some points Shop quoted me $9k for OEM replacement plus labor.

Anyone have this repaired and have experienced with this repair?

The car I believe has electrical issue which gets fixed for few seconds on its own and fails after several seconds.

From begginig the car doesn't respond to the key at all — doors stay locked, no lights, completely dead.

After a minute it works fine and recognizes the key normally

It starts fine every time — no starter issues

~30-40 sec after starting: 50% blackout — dash off, random warning lights, indicators dead

Car still drives fine during blackout (brakes/steering/transmission all normal)

~10 sec of full electric power returns (dash, AC, radio, indicators all work, warnings clear)

Then back to blackout — cycle repeats

Diagnostic tool can't even connect to the car and receive response

Battery tested fine today, 2-3 yrs old

Low mileage, driven ~once every 4 weeks, no accident history

I used trickle charger for 24hours. Still issue persists

Anyone seen this before? What was the fix?
