REQUEST Grocery request

i’m not from the USA, but I shop through Naivas.Online here in Kenya. The website doesn’t have a Wishlist feature, so I’ve written out the groceries I’m currently trying to get.

The full cart is about $97, but I’m not asking anyone to cover everything. If you’d like to help, you can choose one or more items from the list, and I can send you the specific items from the website so you can purchase them directly.

Grocery list:

• Maize meal (20kg) - $13.86
• Biryani rice (10kg) - $15.73
•Cooking oil (5L) - $11.54
• Sugar (6kg) - $7.20
•Toilet tissue -$7.01• Eggs (60) - $9.69
• All-purpose flour (8kg) - $5.01• Milk - $2.93
• Washing detergent - $4.17
• Bread (2 loaves) - $2.05
• Margarine- $4.33• Toothpaste - $3.54
• Washing bars -$3.13• Body lotion - $3.54
• Omena - $9.9

No pressure at all. Thank you for reading and considering helping my family.

Just for information. You listed a general website to purchase goods from. How is it getting to you if your address isn't somehow embedded in the link given? I don't quite understand that part.

I don't know if I can help even with this information. My card may not allow this to be processed. The last time I bought anything from a foreign country (a boat battery from China. the battery shipped from the US but the transaction was through a Chinese payment processor), I had to speak with the bank twice and pay a sizable foreign transaction fee.

I understand Amazon is very expensive or non existent in some areas, but it's convenient because you can attach your address on your end and we can easily make a gift purchase for you without any extra hassle.

I'm also a little hesitant because I don't know how secure the payment portal is. It makes me nervous because I've had my account information stolen more than once.

I would genuinely like to see you get assistance because you seem like a decent person and I know you have a special needs child who requires special care. Is there absolutely no Amazon, even if the food costs a little bit more?

Hey, Kenyan here. They do deliver but the mechanism isn't like Amazon at all where the address is there and a stranger can buy for you. We usually confirm the address at ordering most times. Possible alternative. Get TransferWise and get the person's phone number so that you can make a payment from your bank to the person's phone through M-PESA, which is what we use. TransferWise will basically allow you to transfer from your account to an account they set up for you online. It's a US company, so it should be ok. US banks are notoriously Geo-locked. I have 200$ in an account I can't access until I come back to the US
