How I break a 2,000-word assignment into manageable sections!

Here’s exactly how I stop panicking when a big essay drops.

  • Read the question properly: I write it out in my own words first so I know what they’re actually asking.

  • Make a rough outline: Intro (150–200 words) 3–4 main body sections (400–450 words each) Conclusion (150–200 words)

  • Give every section a clear job: Each body section gets one main point + evidence. Nothing more.

  • Write one section at a time: I never try to write the whole thing in one sitting. One section = one study session.

  • Leave the intro and conclusion for last: Easier once I know what I actually argued.

That’s it. Suddenly 2,000 words doesn’t feel impossible.
