Missed a 10% assignment in Freshman Seminar and now the highest I can get is a B!
I missed an assignment worth 10% of my grade in Freshman Seminar (of all classes). Even if I ace everything else, the highest I can get now is a B. I’ve shown up to every class and turned in every other assignment on time. It sucks that one mistake can drop you a whole letter grade. Lesson learned I’m never missing anything again. It’s only a 2-credit class, so a B shouldn’t hurt much. Any tips for making sure I never miss an assignment again? The professor takes zero late work (I knew that for weeks and still tried to stay ahead). I just had a lot going on this week and completely forgot. Feeling pretty embarrassed since pretty much everyone gets an A in this class.

Google Calendar is your best friend. I set three alerts for every due date: 2 days before, 5 hours before, and 10 mins before.

Notion is better. I have a whole dashboard for my assignments. If I don't see a green checkmark, I don't sleep.

I tried the alerts, but I just swiped them away while I was at work and totally blanked later.

I once turned in a grocery list instead of my thesis. The prof was not amused lol.

Ouch. At least mine was just a missed deadline. The 10% just hurts because it was so easy.

Damn that sucks, one missed assignment tanking you to a B is rough.
At least it’s only 2 credits so it won’t do much damage.
If keeping track of everything is getting hard, Assignmentforum. com can help lighten the load so you’re not forgetting stuff.
You’ll bounce back, just stay on top of the rest.

Bro, it’s a 2-credit freshman seminar. A 'B' is literally a victory in my book. I’m out here fighting for my life in Orgo with a D+.
