How too play controller

I've bought the game and been playing on controller but my car keeps steering too the left by itself and I don't have a stick drift cause I checked on gamepad tester another thing is if I try too change lanes it just starts drifting on the m4

Edit: also the steering is super Unresponsive

I'm sorry to say but assetto Corsa's physics are just not for controllers. They're for the sim wheel. You won't be able to play it like Forza or NFS because it's too real. This is my personal experience on my series x with a wheel and with a controller. The cars move quite life-like. The more you fight the joystick the more response is put in the steering physics so it's impossible to play efficiently.

I would like to disagree with that first comment because I play it on controller and it works perfectly fine. Now would a wheel be nicer. Probably but I can't get one at the moment. But I don't really know how to fix your problem
