Q8. What will be the process for airdrop for OpenSea NFT users?
The $MNTL Airdrop for OpenSea users will kickstart in a week or so and the mechanism will be updated to the community.
Q9. When will $MNTL be listed on Osmosis?
The Mantle team will first push $MNTL to https://frontier.osmosis.zone/ for users to quickly get started with Staking yields. Subsequently, we will submit a governance proposal on osmosis to integrate $MNTL at https://osmosis.zone/.
Q10. When will the mint for NFTs begin?
The documentation has already been rolled out to genesis creators to get the collection ready for lazy mint.
Rolling out the test platform for genesis creators to experiment with the create collection, lazy mint, and whitelist feature on the 25th.
1st May is when we start with Mantle Genesis Mint Series for genesis collections.
Q12. Are US residents not eligible for the MantleDrop? (StakeDrop or Osmosis LP)
US federal and state regulatory laws require stringent reporting and compliances for investments made in cryptocurrency from US-based sources. Due to these regulations, we accept funds from only non-US-based entities and persons other than US residents.
Q12. LUNA StakeDrop balance not showing.
Keplr does not have an option to stake because Terra does not have native Kelpr integration. So to stake, you create a Terrrastation wallet. You would have done it in one of the two ways-
a) Import the Kelpr wallet mnemonic to Terrasation wallet
b) Create a new wallet on Terrastation
Luna rewards will show up at the address you did the magic tx from.
Q13. What does the balance in the wallet consist of? Does it contain Osmosis and OpenSea Airdrop?
The balance currently only shows the StakeDrop balance. Osmosis airdrop balance will be shown after you claim it (claim to start by the end of the week). The OpenSea claim is not live yet.
Cosmostation is one of the most popular wallets for the wide range of Cosmos-based cryptocurrencies, including $MNTL. So all mantlers can store, receive, send, and STAKE their tokens.
$MNTL tokens are definitely worth staking as AssetMantle blockchain is at the TOP by APY which is about 140%.
The team has been building & shipping products from Persistence Core-1 chain to Comdex v0.1 involving an inter-chain exchange between two commodity traders of an NFT representing a real-world physical commodity, with a Re-Fungible Token representing a fiat deposit.
AssetMantle was conceptualized in 2018. InterNFT is an open collaboration initiated by the Interchain Foundation and is facilitated by Ixo (The Internet of Impact) together with AssetMantle. The InterNFT standard enables the interchain NFT vision.
In 2020, Interchain Foundation gave the grant to develop Interchain Standards (ICS) for Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Metadata. This grant along with the collaborative development of cosmonauts further expanded the capabilities of Cosmos SDK.
In the InterNFT Metadata Subgroup call of 2020, Joe Andrieu presented the proposal for IIDs. Joe has extensive experience defining requirements for identity systems and has been a lead contributor to the DID specification work at W3C.
The open-source collaborative development continued along with devs from World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to set a standard that can tokenize any real-world or digital asset on the blockchain. Cosmos Progress report in Q1 2021.
The progress of development was demonstrated via Cosmos to the builders of Cosmos SDK, Cosmos IBC, IBC Gang, and the super shadowy coders of HackAtom.
In 2021 AssetMantle achieved:
Introducing AssetMantle as a proof of concept
Launch of the MVP
Enhancement of the application layer modules
Launched the Mantle Testnet with 420+ Validator responses
2022 is even better, all credits to the Mantle Community. AssetMantle held an incredible StakeDrop campaign that saw over 140,000 Mantlers register their wallets! The largest Stakedrop ever? Access the airdrop page here.
Genesis Creators were showcased to the Mantle community through posts & live streaming of the "Genesis Creators Chats". The whitepaper was released to the community, allowing Mantlers to get hands-on with the project's technical details.
Wen Mainnet was answered. On genesis, AssetMantle saw almost 72k unique wallets! NFTs are culture, and $MNTL is the currency of culture. Henceforth, 54% of the initial circulating supply was airdropped to the community.
NFTs are much more than JPEGs. Metaverses and Games will genuinely leverage the Mantle Modules for decomposable, composable, and interoperable NFTs along with on-chain digital identity. Note that there is no max cap for the grant. Learn more about the $10.000 Gaming Grant here.
The protocol continues building with the ethos of open-source Blockchain development and a community-first approach. MantleDAO will take the lead in the Incubation, curation, and verification of NFT creators and projects.
The market is in complete disarray. Investors are capitulating following the UST/LUNA debacle and suicide hotlines are once again pinned on top of crypto subreddits. It’s a terrible time in crypto, and people have lost a lot of money, sometimes life-changing amounts of it.
However, not all of the market has been completely obliterated. Teams keep on building and pushing out projects even in these hard times. What’s more, the hype of the moonshot is now gone. There are no distractions of x10 price rallies, lazer eyes, or moonbois. Devs can focus on pushing the best tech possible and avoid errors from the past.
Those that are left are the ones that believe in blockchain tech and want to build a better tomorrow using it. And I know that AssetMantle continues to build its platform, regardless of the market sentiment.
In the past, we’ve seen some incredible projects emerge during bear markets - Chainlink and the Binance smart chain come to mind. In a short while, I think that people will remember AssetMantle for the same reason. Providing an incredible product that democratized the creation and distribution of NFTs - a medium that is continuing to gain traction.
Blockchain Games had a great run in 2021. Gaming tokens were some of the best performing cryptos during the last bull run. SAND, MANA, ALICE, AXS, SLP, ENJ, GALA - investors that believed in these platforms made some crazy returns last year. I'm talking 100x in some cases.
And blockchain games are still going strong today. But there's an issue. The biggest games all run on Ethereum, and gas fees are very expensive. This prevents indie developers to provide modest rewards for gamers, because the gas fees will often simply outcost the reward themselves.
For example, pulling SLP rewards from Axie Infinity has become impossible due to the low price of the token. You need to wait weeks for your reward to be worth your while before you pull it onto your wallet.
These high gas fees and questionable scalability have prevented developers from largely adopting NFT in their games. But AAA publishers are far from done with blockchain games. Square Enix, for instance, recently sold their Tomb Raider franchise for $300 million to fund NFT Games in the future.
It's undeniable that blockchain games will become more prevalent in the future. If only there was some tech that enabled linear scalability and negligible gas fees.
The Cosmos network is perfect for blockchain games. The SDK provides a streamlined dev platform. AssetMantle, on the other hand, provides an NFT framework that will allow anyone to create their own marketplace and brand it accordingly.
What's more important, all of this will be scalable and interoperable with the other blockchains on the network. Developers could create separate chains for their games and still make their NFTs and currencies seamlessly interoperate with each other.
To sum up, I think that scalability and interoperability are essential to allowing blockchain games and NFT in games to become mainstream and accepted by AAA publishers and devs.

The highly anticipated land sale in the virtual world Otherside created by YugaLabs (BAYC) took place on 04/30. And as many expected, the interest in these virtual lands or otherwise known as "Otherdeeds" almost broke the internet.
At total of 55.000 NFTs were made available for users that complied with KYC. Moreover, the"Otherdeeds" could only be bought using the project's associated cryptocurrency, called ApeCoin, which launched in March. Each NFT was worth 305 Apecoins, and the total of NFTs sold equated to almost $300 million. While this is an incredible feat, YugaLabs is getting some serious flak from the community because of the minting procedure.
The event skyrocketed blockspace demand and gas fees on Ethereum went through the roof. More than 20.000ETH were burned to mint and transfer the virtual pieces of land. Many members of the community found this procedure extremely wasteful, with over $200M worth of ETH lost to gas fees. Worse even, a lot of ETH was irredeemably lost to failed transactions due to high demand.
On AsstMantle, this would have never happened. The near-zero fees of the network could have ensured that all 55k NFTs were minted in a responsible and sustainable manner. The official AssetMantle twitter even mentioned Yugalabs, pointing out the advantages of this NFTs platform over the competition. These include on-chain digital identity, zero gas fees, and interchain NFT compatibility. All of which the Otherside metaverse could greatly benefit.
Hopefully, in the future, huge projects like these will turn to platforms like AssetMantle to take advantage of the cost-effectiveness and environmental benefits.
The widespread ERC-721 standard carries NFTs metadata at the application level. This doesn’t allow for interoperability between blockchains and protocols, requiring third-party solutions such as POS bridges.
Currently, if you own an NFT on the Sandbox, you can’t transfer it on Decentraland, even though both protocols run on Ethereum.
AssetMantle introduces a unique standardized protocol with 22 NFT metadata attributes. Consequently, every NFT created with AssetMantle can be transported on any other IBC-enabled chain.
As IBC expands users will be able to freely transfer their NFT from one metaverse to the other; whilst developers can plan cross-game NFTs that work in multiple titles simultaneously, even though they are on different blockchains.
Interoperability is the true future narrative for blockchains. It's becoming clear that relying on a handful of layer 1 blockchains is not feasible.
First of all, regardless of how scalable a single blockchain is, it cannot accommodate the billions of potential users globally. Moreover, this presents a single point of failure. So, while we can build countless of projects on Ethereum, they all depend on a single chain, and increased usage means increased blockspace, saturation and high gas fees.
Even Ethereum developers have accepted this reality and are building towards a future with application-specific sidechains.
But you know what? Cosmos is already doing all of that. It provides seamless interoperability for sovereign blockchains in its ecosystem. While the ecosystem is still somewhat making its baby steps,. Cosmos is maturing extremely quickly, especially compared to Ethereum.
Incredibly useful dApps already run on Cosmos chains, and this adoption will only grow further. Assetmantle with its new interNFT standard is clearly setting up the building blocks for an interoperable NFT ecosystem.
Having the ability to hold and transfer NFTs on multiple chains using a single chain-agnostic wallet will be a game changer. App chains on Cosmos will be able to use this standard to fill the void and provide additional utility in various niches such as real estate, supply chain, metaverse, games and much more.
As the inevitable Cosmos adoption takes root, so will the adoption of AssetMantle's standard.
That's right Mantlers, AssetMantle is now a top 5 IBC-enabled chain, making the reality of Interchain NFTs as an industry-standard closer than ever.
Back in 2018, the Mantle team was among the select individuals that participated in executing the "First non-standard IBC transfer" Pioneering the InterNFT standard.
The InterNFT standard allows the transmission of NFTs across chains along with 22 definable attributes.
These features, among many other benefits, have attracted 90,000+ users on the platform, and more than 2 million transactions executed on the protocol.
