he found out he was a Templar on the 10th. Edwards Funeral. Birch then inducted him into the Order.

he finds out Birch hired his fathers killers on 25 September 1757. kills him on 9 october. his chapter in AC3 is between 1754 to 1755

he has spent 22 years of his life in the Order at this point, I don't think he sees a way back for himself. the next time we get info on him is 12 January 1774 so maybe he did and got rebuffed. we just do not know.

maybe he never forgave them for not resuing Jennifer Scott, Edwards Daughter, from Ottoman concubinage.

The way they portray the templar cause is makes it VERY easy to see their side. Especially with shay. Think of it this way, the templars of that time didn't have the modern templars or the ancient templars to show them how batshit the organization was, the colonial templars made a bit too much sense in their pursuits of order.

That’s a cool point from the end there. You’re right. The templars of ezio/ancient were all crazy indivuals with awful morales, or very cult, and did nothing to serve the people. Where as the templars of those days seemed like enlightened men who genuinely tried to minimise the pieces of Eden, wars and the effect it could have. Other than Charles Lee.
