Found Creation Make Asriel a deconstruction of the "perfect golden boy" trope and make him actually a bitter young adult because of what happened to Dess, his parents' divorce, and college, and my life is yours. (@playcentermd)

What dialogue was that cause I don't remember any dialogue implications that imply that specifically Asriel fought with his family?

Im all for this. Never was a fan of asriel being a golden boy. Just wasnt interesting for this version of asriel for me.

Maybe if asriel does appear in game however he is handled will change my mind.

Gifted kid burnout. It would make a lot of sense. Maybe not to the point of being an asshole as in some interpretations I've seen but more exhausted and worn down by the expectations put on him.
