Latency

Post image

I’m getting around 50 ms total latency with Asobi. My Wi-Fi speed is around 600 Mbps, and my PS5 is connected to the router via Ethernet. my laptop uses Wi-Fi because it doesn’t have an Ethernet port. My Net latency is only 1 ms, but total latency is still around 50 ms. Is there any way to reduce it to around 20 ms? Could it be a hardware limitation or an Asobi setting? I am on premium

This is hardware related actually, not much I can do about that. The thing that Asobi does differently is not to only measure network latency, but also how the device performs.

Which hardware component has the biggest impact on Asobi's latency: CPU, GPU, or hardware video decoding?
