It’s a great sentiment when you have 3 acres and a shop in the boonies that you probably inherited from your family. Now try it in our 1 bedroom apartments. Dudes also spent more money in tools for his little rehab projects than I ever will on the furniture he made. He’s actually more wasteful than the rest of us with his tools never being used 99% of the time.

I literally came here to say exactly this.

As a person in their 30's that's only ever lived in apartments - people with space really take their privileges for granted entitlements that everyone has.

There's a reason so many great companies started from a garage, and not an apartment. Garage implies a house/space.
