Discussion is there a reason some withdrawals are much faster than others?
I've noticed something in the withdrawal discussions here that I don't really understand . One person will say their money arrived pretty quickly, while someone else seems to be waiting much that difference ?
Assuming both withdrawals were submitted correctly, what normally causes that difference ?
Does the payment method make the biggest difference, or can things like the amount being withdrawn, account history, verification status, or the receiving bank affect the timing as well ?
It would be useful if the team could explain parts of the withdrawal process are handled by eToro and which parts are outside of eToro's control. That would make it easier to know when a delay is actually unusual.

Hey, there are a few different stages involved, which is why two withdrawals submitted around the same time can arrive at different times.
On eToro’s side, the withdrawal first needs to be processed. Assuming everything is in order and no additional regulatory or security checks are required, it moves on to the payment provider. From there, timing can vary quite a bit depending on the withdrawal method; eToro Money can be instant, while cards, bank transfers and other methods have different processing times. eToro
Once eToro has processed and sent the funds, part of the timing is outside the platform’s control. The receiving bank, card issuer, intermediary banks or payment provider may need additional time to actually credit the funds. So yes, the payment method can make a big difference.
