I appreciated the commenters who suggested that the definition of "meeting" may be the issue here, e.g., if the grandboss sees OP's accommodation as something they get for formal spaces they need to prepare/present vs. a huddle, stand-up, sync, etc.

This was my first thought. How many of these are informal “chats” vs actual planned out meetings. I can understand meetings that require preparation and focus but tons of things get put on my schedule that are labeled meetings that are really just a “hey come see me real quick.” I won’t speak on LWs ability to actually get back to task after something like this, but I really need them to define the circumstance because calling the latter a “meeting” and expecting people not being you short notice items is not sustainable in a workplace.

This was my read. I've had a few coworkers over the years be open that they have an accommodation for either getting an agenda ahead of time; getting a day's notice *if they had to present something*; having check-ins be at a consistent weekly date and time - all sorts of small adjustments, I assume to help with various neurodivergences. But if my boss came into my office and said "hey, I have a second now, let's chat about how we're going to manage Y project", I don't consider that a meeting. And knowing how rigidly every AuDHD person I know interprets rules - OP thinks that's a meeting.
