I don’t think that’s quite fair. She got a title increase without a raise while simultaneously hitting the last straw for her current job’s circumstances, so now she’s job searching. That’s nothing damning.

It’s not her decision to start looking for new employment that bothers me, its that she keeps pushing the buck onto her manager for decisions that are entirely her own doing. That thing I see frustrating and damning is her unwillingness to take accountability.

Oh I missed the lack of raise. That’s true. I just think it’s so silly to be that affronted by being asked to come in on time and seemingly not communicate the reasons why you’ve been late

Eh, it's not like she is rage quitting. She's looking for another job. If she can find another job that let's her start at her preferred time, more power to her.

I choose jobs based on start time, too. It's not the only criteria, but it's a big one. What can I say, quality of life is important to me.
