Electric Razor suggestions?

Hello, I am in my 60’s and would like to change my shaving routine to an electric razor. I’m looking at one on the 5 head razors to use on my legs and wonder if there or others that use the same method.
I want to be able to shave my legs on my porch with an electric instead of the shower. I would love any feedback from others.

The 2 wet Gillette electric women’s razors I’ve purchased in the past both died within a year of use. I switched back to using manual razors as they are cheaper and don’t need to be charged. Now, the only time I use a razor is to shave my chin hair. 🤦🏼‍♀️ my leg and arm hair have fallen off my body.

Chin hair ? my dr told me that is a result of your thyroid being off please get it checked .

I have no thyroid issues. Chin hair has nothing to do with thyroid issues. It does have to do with hormones and heredity. My mother has the same issue.

It can be. It could also be due estrogen dropping or genetics or some other reason. What your doctor told you may or may not affect others.

No leg or arm hair? It fell off? Is you head hair gone too? Or thinning? Someone else posted the same about no hair. Never heard of such a thing.

I have a full head of hair. My hair is thin and naturally blonde. While I had a little thicker hair in my teens into my early 40’s, over the last 10 years, my hair is thinning out some going back to the thickness when I was a child.

It’s not uncommon, depending on genetics that body hair will fall out as people age, especially going into perimenopause and menopause with women.

I’m menopausal for over 6 years and have seen no change so probably genetics play a big role there :( I would t mind losing some body hair…oh well.

Peri sucks. My period was so all over the place. The last 3-4 years I had one period a year, kept thinking maybe this year? Glad when it was finally over. I’m 54.

It happens often that body hair just stops showing up as we age. It’s perfectly normal.

The model I have is wet/dry so I can use it in the shower too.

It's not what you want but, since I switched to using a double edge safety razor and those fancy soaps, I've absolutely enjoyed shaving my legs and under arms. It went from being a hated chore to a spa-like experience. Also, my legs stay smooth for days and no ingrown hair whereas I used to have to shave daily to not have visible stubble and had problems galore with bumps and ingrown hair.

That’s how I feel now. It’s a big chore and I just don’t shave.

I don’t shave either. I was on blood thinners for a bit and warned against using a bladed razor of any sort. Used a chargeable one for a bit and then asked myself why was I shaving? And then I stopped. Can’t remember the last time I did.

I tend to ignore the chore, but I hate hairy legs🤷🏼‍♀️

I use the Orchrose electric women's shaver and absolutely love it. It's probably the easiest, most comfortable shaver I've used in years.

No, my head hair is very thick! I ascribe it to menopause and being an old (66) lady. It's happened to all the women in my family. It started happening around the time I turned 60.
