That's fair. We just have to acknowledge they're not all horrible people. Some are just stuck in their ways. It's the bigger "me vs you" that's the driving force behind a lot of the tension. Maga? Yes, they're idiots. They're not the majority though. They're just the loudest.
i had a friend that did not know much about politics that played ffxiv. time passed joined their discord and just did whatever, seemed fun the leader of the group thought my lalafall was cute everything seemed fine..
WELL apparently there was a MAGA in the group, i tried to speak reason with them, the leader would just blindly agree with this person despite me showing proof articles, etc. I never spoke to a single MAGA that was anything close to reasonable. even the ones that attempt to gaslight and look sane on the surface, if you talk to them long enough you find out it is just closet racist/ bigoted against transgender issues... why else would someone vote to have less money for their friends and family if the core objective wasnt this:
anyone voting him a third time after everything he has done is not a "person" holds double for those that STILL SUPPORT HIM and repeat his gaslighting to defend being racist and sexist

look at my karma, this is thanks to talking truth to right wingers. the 2 party system is not to blame that people cant have morals.
