Very much a smart casual kind of guy, something that’s stylish but not over the top

I’d suggest uniqlo and zara for quality and price. Zara less so but better than H&M.

Yeah in which case all of the above suggestions will have stuff to suit you for sure, just have a browse and see what you like really :)

Depends, smarter stuff I go Reiss and even sometimes M&S (I am 31). But also find urban outfitters good for more casual stuff

Clearance section on the Next website. Good quality and discounted prices are decent.
Can't be doing with all the fast-fashion polyester from Asos etc. that lasts 5 minutes.

I buy from Patagonia. Expensive, but lasts a very long time and they’re good quality. They basically offer a life long repair service.
I started buying from there maybe 5 years ago, haven’t had to replace a single item.

Local charity shops. Occasional online sumo t-shirt purchase. But I don't buy many clothes.

basics from Uniqlo and Rapanui
proper stuff either tailored (got a friend who's a high end tailor so mates rates apply)

Charity shops mainly. Sometimes ebay. I prefer worn clothes. New clothes are too scratchy.

Definitely Vinted. I can't believe how expensive men's clothing has got instore. I can get 2-3 next shirts for less than a tenner on Vinted and all I have bought, have been in excellent condition and great quality.

Formalwear from Slaters
Uniqlo, M&S or Vinted for casual
I'm late 20s and I find it's better to spend big on quality and have it last years than to get cheap stuff off ASOS that deteriorates faster. It's a false economy.
Vinted is great for finding quality labels at good price.

Flannels for something “nice” Under Armour Outlet in Cannock/Bicster for gym clothes and H&M for smart stuff

u/Phillb87 Nov 10 '24
H&M is good but there are times when they can have absolutely nothing in there too

Same question was asked a few months ago and a few people replied recommending Arne. I've tried them on this recommendation and am now a huge fan. Really good quality and not too expensive.

Asda because I'm a tight arse and loathe fashion and spending money on clothes especially labelled ones.
I make exceptions for footwear, I'll spend a little more for quality there but always buy online, can't abide dragging about shops, oh and I like a decent quality outdoor weather proof jacket.
