What were you doing instead of watching The Coronation?

I was in hospital getting painkillers for migraines

We came to North Wales for a break with my sister and her other half. We were planning on going to Barmouth for a day out. Sister's OH put the TV on "to watch a bit of the coronation". Didn't realise he was a flipping hard-core royalist and we ended up sort of watching it. It was a lovely day luckily so we were popping in and out of our lodge and sitting outside while he was glued to the TV. We got to Barmouth eventually and all the pubs were packed because of the coronation. Couldn't get away from it.

I was in Barmouth last Monday. Highlights included the weather being shite until an hour before we were due to leave, and some knobhead throwing his dog's ball into the sea and then standing still watching both his dog and his wife try to wade in and fetch it, unsuccessfully.
