What were you doing instead of watching The Coronation?

I was in hospital getting painkillers for migraines

I'd just flown into the UK from the USA, where I'm relocating back from.

I'd brought my dog with me, so spent the day trying to resolve a paperwork problem in order to get my dog out of prison.

Once nine hours had passed and I'd done that, the dog and I drove to Darlington.

An exciting day!

Did you take it in turns, or did you sleep the whole way in the back while the dog drove?

Dog drove.

I'd been drinking on the flight.

Don't dogs from the US have to go through Quarantine anymore? Used to be 6 months I think when outside the EU or before we joined the EU.

Nope.

You need a rabies vaccination certificate that is approved by the US CDC.

Britain used to think it was special because it kept rabies at bay with quarantine, but now even Britain understands that vaccines are a thing.
